Here is my project, it is a mixed media canvas with a slightly shabby chic twist.
I used a 5 x 7 inch canvas for this project. I started off with some texture paste in the background and layered on a large chipboard gear.
I stacked up my elements and then painted over my first layer with white paint. Then used my sprays over top once that was dry. I also used some Lindy's mica powders as well to give a nice metallic sheen to the canvas.
Once those layers were dry I added my top elements, a Tim Holtz sentiment and flowers from Recollections. I wanted to have different textures and lots of cool things to look at!
Here is some of the sprays I used for my canvas. I tried to stick to mostly metallics, and I love Lindy's sprays for this.
