Mixed Media Tiles For ScraPerfect Dt

Good morning friends, Kim F. here today with my next project for ScraPerfect.
I altered some little 3 x 3 inch heavy chipboard which was taken from a broken picture frame, so its also an upcycled project!

I started off with putting some texture paste on the boards and then giving it all a coat with black gesso.

I also painted my embellishments with the black gesso and then got out the Best Glue Ever to attach my embellishments to the board.

One of the little boards I also gave the boards lots of Lindy's Stamp Gang mica powders for shimmer and some of the Prima Art Alchemy paints and dry brushed them on top.

Again, The Best Glue Ever to glue down all my little embellies! This glue is so amazing, it holds everything down!

I added some Prima Art Stones and a sentiment to each, using the Best Glue Ever. Here are my final
3 x 3 little tiles!

I hope you like my project and will check out the ScraPerfect Store for The Best Glue Ever, and
don't forget to pick up some of the Best Cleaner Ever to clean your brushes and work space up after you are done creating!

Thanks for stopping by today!

The Best Brush Cleaner Ever!

Good morning everyone, Kim here today with my next DT post for ScraPerfect~
I wanted to share an amazing tip with you today featuring The Best Cleaner Ever!

If you are like me, and well, make a mess while Art-ing, then you are going to love this tip. I use lots of paint brushes for lots of different things and sometimes, well, ok, most of the time, I forget to clean them. The Best Cleaner Ever has become my new best friend!

I take my messy brushes and add a few squirts of The Best Cleaner Ever to them, wait a few moments, rinse, and Voila! My brushes are magically cleaned back to their original state.   For stubborn brushes, I squirt some of the cleaner on and leave it over night, and then rinse in the morning.

The bristles are soft and ready for my next project!

The Best Cleaner Ever has become my new best friend in my craft room!

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to check out the ScraPerfect Store for all the great products they sell!

Mini Composition Books For ScraPerfect

Good morning ScraPerfect Fans! Today I am sharing my next DT project and this time I have altered some mini composition books.  These books are about 4 1/2 inches high, so great to fit in a pocket or purse!

I started off by giving the books a coat of white gesso to cover up the colours and writing on the front of the books.

Next, I Mod Podged some of the Tim Holtz idea-olgy tissue paper on the front of the books.

Once the Mod Podge was dry, I got out my Christine Adolph adhesive rub ons. These are such fun rub-ons and work so great with the Transfer Foils!

I added my image and then placed the Transfer Foils over top and gave them a rub to adhere down to the book cover.

Once I was finished with the transfer foils, I used the Best Glue Ever for all my embellishments, even the trim on the side of the books, yes it works for this too! I also use the No Clog writing Cap on my bottle too!

I added some paper sentiments in the front and back cover of the books, again using the Best Glue Ever and some Distress Inks in Brushed Corduroy.

Now its time for the rest of the embellies!  I used some wood pieces, some of the Tim Holtz paper dolls, some metals and some fabric flowers all glued down with the Best Glue Ever.

You will see the tiny flowers from the Wheel of Embellies on each of the covers as well for a final colourful touch! Don't forget to use the Best Cleaner Ever to do all the clean up when you are finished your project too!

I also added some thread behind each of the paper dolls for some fun texture.

I hope you like my little composition note books, they are a fun and easy project!

Teeny Weenie Boxes For ScraPerfect

Good morning ScraPerfect Fans! I have created some teenie weenie boxes this time with a vintage vibe to them.  This is a super simple project and with the help of the ScraPerfect  products, you can make these tiny boxes for stocking stuffers, or pop a little suprise inside for someone special.

I started off with some 2 inch paper mache boxes and then gave them a coat of gesso. Once the gesso was dry, I used some Prima Art Alchemy paints in my favorite colours. Once I was done painting, I used The Best Cleaner Ever to clean my brushes. This stuff is amazing!! It cleans my brushes and leaves the bristles so soft!

When the paint was dry, I got out some Lindy's Stamp Gang mica powder in marigold gold red. I dusted the boxes with it, and it gave them a lovely shimmer.

r
I then used the Best Glue Ever to place little doilies from KS4U on the top of the boxes and I also used some embroidery floss in coordinating colours to add texture to the top of the boxes. My Best Glue Ever has the No Clog Writing Cap on it, so I use minimal glue and it always flows nicely!

I then added some of the Tim Holtz paper dolls, and some of the pretty flowers from the Wheel of Embellies. All glued down with the Best Glue Ever.

I added a bit of lace from KS4U around the boxes and then took more of the embroidery floss and wrapped it around the lids and bases to finish them off.

A few pearls and flowers added a final touch.

I hope you like my teenie weenie boxes I have created, they were so easy and fun to make!

Mixed Media ATC's For ScraPerfect

Good morning ScraPerfect fans, Kim here today with my next DT project!
This time I have created some mixed media ATC's I am sending off to a friend for her YouTube challenge she is having.

I started off with some white acrylic paints as a base coat.

Next, I got out some of my Lindy's Sprays and started to add some colour.

Now its time for The Best Glue Ever and some torn paper scraps from my stash. I laid them down first to see where I wanted them, then added some of the glue to hold them on the wood surface.

Once the paper was down I used another colour of Lindy's on top to add another dimension.

Now its time to get out my stamps. I started with a script stamp for the background, then I used this Tim Holtz Stamp of the 3 gentlemen. However, the stamp lifted some of the paint up and stuck to the stamp, no problem tho, The Best Cleaner Ever will clean that right up!

Sometimes we have little accidents like this on our art, and if it happens, its just another reason to make your art unique!

Now I am placing some more of the Best Glue Ever with the No Clog Writing Cap to some random places on the ATC's. I will let it dry and get tacky for the next step.

Here I am adding some of the Transfer Foils to the tacky glue. I used 2 different colours of the foils on each.

Here is the ATC's with the foils on them.

Next step is a bit more Best Glue Ever and some glitter glass!

After the glitter glass I then added some of the Gold Lux Mix for some sparkle!

A word or phrase and a couple of metal embellishments and I am almost done!

I thought a finishing touch would be nice so I used the Wheel of Embellies to add a little flower to each of the wings, I think it finished the ATC's off nicely!

I hope you like my project today. Thanks so much for stopping by!
