Mixed Media Tag White Rose Crafts DT

Good morning friends, Kim here with my next DT project for White Rose Crafts. This time
I have created a large 10 inch chipboard tag, using lots of products from the WRC Store.

I covered the chipboard tag with some vintage music paper and some scrapbooking paper from my stash. I then used a Couture Creations stencil from the WRC store. I used some sand texture paste to give it lots of texture.  I also sprayed some of my Lindy's sprays in the background for some colour.

I embossed the clock chipboard piece next with Ranger Rose Gold embossing powder and the Gun Metal embossing powder to give the gears and the clock a two toned metallic look.

As I cut up the clock chipboard piece, I used the gears from that piece and layered tem on top of the Square mini frames, which I embossed with the same Rose Gold embossing powder I used on the clock.

I fussy cut out some of the flowers and dragonfly from the Graphic 45 Flutter paper to layer in between the chipboard. I also added a Tim Holtz Pen Nib to the dragonfly body for some fun.

The Believe Philosophy tag from Tim Holtz was added to the corner of the frame with more of the chipboard gears.

The finishing touch was some of the Pink & White Begonias flowers from the WRC Store, and some champagne glitter glass, and mica flakes for some sparkle.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today and have found some inspiration here!

Fairy Magic ATC's White Rose Crafts DT

Good morning friends, Kim here with some magical fairy ATCs, using some fun items from the

I started off with some blank ATC bases.

I covered the bases with the Craft Creations Silver Foil Texture with Stars paper. This paper is so beautiful and magical looking, it was perfect for what I was going for on my atc's.

After I covered the bases with the paper, I got out some of my Tim Holtz paper dolls and added some fun butterfly wings to them, to make them into magical little fairies.

Once I had the paper dolls and wings on the atc's, I used some Dovecraft Glitter glue on the
wings of my little fairies for some extra magical glitter.

Next, I got out some Imagine Crafts Sheer Shimmer spray, in Sparkle.  I love this spray so much, it adds an amazing amount of glitter and shimmer to everything I use it on, I can see this spray will be something I keep in my crafty stash!

Finally, for the last little magical touch, I added some of the Tim Holtz mirrored stars to each of the cards.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today, thanks for stopping by!

Altered Gift Bag ScraPerfect DT

Good morning friends, Kim here with my next DT project for ScraPerfect.
This time I have altered a paper bag to hold some lovely items for happy mail.

I started off using the Best Glue Ever on my Rice Paper image, you don't need much of the glue as it holds so well.

Once the image was applied, I stared to layer on some laces and trims, also using the Best
Glue Ever.  The lighter and thinner laces hold quite well with BGE, though it does take a bit longer to dry, but it holds very well.

I also used BGE for the epoxy gold circles to ensure they stayed down on the lace.

And here is my finished bag, all ready for filling with some lovely happy mail for a friend.

I hope you have found some inspiration here today, thanks for stopping by!

Magical Wee Books A White Rose Crafts DT Project

Good morning and happy October! I have some fun and magical wee books to share with you today, using some amazing products from White Rose Crafts.

I started off using some black cardstock from my stash and created my own wee little book using a chipboard base. I glued the chipboard to the cardstock on both sides and this formed the base of the books.

I used the American Crafts "Haunted Hollow" paper for the top of the books. This paper had different book covers on it, so it was perfect for this project.  I also used some Frayed Burlap Distress Ink to each of the books to make them look old and grungy.

I also used the Dress it up Halloween set, and used three of the little embellishments to decorate the covers of the tiny books.

I used old book pages inside the books to make them feel authentic and sewed in the signatures to each of the books. So, now they are real tiny books that can be open and read!

I added some of the ScrapBerry Witch Hat charms to the spines of each of the books so everyone knows just who they belong to!

I decided the books were not spooky enough so I added some "cobwebs" made with hot glue to each of the books, now they look old and like they have been sitting on someone's shelf for a very long time.

The finishing touch was some Imagine Crafts Sheer Shimmer Spray, this gave my books the magical sparkle they needed.

I hope you have enjoyed my wee magical books today, thanks for stopping by!
