Altered Gift Bag ScraPerfect DT

Good morning friends, Kim here with my next DT project for ScraPerfect.
This time I have altered a paper bag to hold some lovely items for happy mail.

I started off using the Best Glue Ever on my Rice Paper image, you don't need much of the glue as it holds so well.

Once the image was applied, I stared to layer on some laces and trims, also using the Best
Glue Ever.  The lighter and thinner laces hold quite well with BGE, though it does take a bit longer to dry, but it holds very well.

I also used BGE for the epoxy gold circles to ensure they stayed down on the lace.

And here is my finished bag, all ready for filling with some lovely happy mail for a friend.

I hope you have found some inspiration here today, thanks for stopping by!

Lavender & Lace Junk Journal For White Rose Crafts DT

Good morning friends, Kim here with my next DT project for White Rose Crafts.
I have created a lovely lavender and lace junk journal using some gorgeous Crafts Creations Paper and some Pion Paper as well.

I hand dyed all the paper inside the journal using purple cabbage! This gave the pages a lovely purple/blue colour. There is also some vintage music paper inside as well that I dyed.
The cover is the Craft Creations Pink and Blue Flowers Paper. I also layered some laces that I also dyed in the purple cabbage on the front of the journal.

I used the Tim Holtz Label Clips and to put on the front cover as a focal piece. Along with some paper flowers and ribbon roses.

I used one of the Tim Holtz Pen Nibs on the corner of the lovely Pion Paper image, with some hand dyed lace and another paper flower.

The pages have hand dyed ruffle trim on them to make them look pretty and shabby.

The inside cover has this lovely tuck spot which is also from the Pion Paper.

I added this gorgeous lavender flower from some vintage wall paper as a nice tuck spot in the middle of the journal.

Here you can see the lovey hand dyed paper and lace ruffles.

The back of the journal has more of the hand dyed laces on top of the Craft Creations Paper.

I hope you like my project today and have found some inspiration here.
Thanks for stopping by.

How To Make A Snippet Roll With The Best Glue Ever ScraPerfect DT

Good morning friends, Kim here with my next DT project for ScraPerfect.
I have created a snippet roll this time, and had lots of fun making it.

I needed at spool for my snippet roll, and didn't have one, so it was the Best Glue Ever to the rescue!
I am using a toilet tissue roll and two ends from a spool of ribbon.

I used vintage hymnal paper to cover all the pieces using The Best Glue Ever. The no clog writing cap, makes this easy for the glue to get to where it needs to be.

Once the pieces were covered in the paper, I used the Best Glue Ever to attach them all, by running a bead of glue around the edge of the tissue roll and attaching the two ends.

I added some trim to the edge and decorated the top of the spool with flowers and lace.

Now it was time to attach the fabric of the snippet roll.
I decorated the fabric with images, vintage laces, ribbon roses and snippets of doilies.

Once I finished the roll, I rolled it up around the spool. Now it is ready to find its way to its new home, for someone to enjoy.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today and will check out the ScraPerfect Store!
Thanks for stopping by!

Little Pixies Card Sketch Challenge White Rose Crafts DT

Good day friends, Kim here with a quick and easy project for White Rose Crafts.

I am joining in with the June Sketch challenge in the White Rose Crafts Gallery Group on Facebook. This is the sketch for this month, but each month they change and its always a fun thing to try my hand at something outside my comfort zone!

I used the Graphic 45 Fairy Dust paper (my favorite!) for my card. I fussy cut out some of the adorable mushrooms from the paper and used some of the Dual Foam Mounting Tape to pop them up.

I also used some of my favorite lace from WRC Store, the Bright White Heart Lace, it looks so pretty on the card. I also used the K & Co Epoxy Stickers for my sentiment, I love these too, they are so quick and easy to pop on a card!

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you have found some inspiration here.
I hope you will try your hand at the sketch challenge this month!

Shabby Chic Paris Heart Card White Rose Crafts DT

Good morning friends, Kim here with my next DT project for White Rose Crafts!
This time I have made a pretty shabby chic and Parisian inspired card for a friend.
I started off with the Neenah A2 Cards and Envelopes set in Parchment for my base.

For the background, I used the Letters from Paris paper stack from Wild Rose Studios. I love this paper, it's just gorgeous with the pink roses and scripty writing and who doesn't love a pink Eiffel Tower?

I also used some of the pink Recollections flowers and one of the Melissa Frances chipboard buttons as an embellishment.

I also dipped into my White Rose Crafts lace stash and used the heart lace and the white scallop lace on the card. The heart Bling Buckle Slider was perfect on this card too!

I also did some sewing on my card and used pink embroidery thread in the bobbin on my sewing machine to give this cool texture to my card.

I hope you like my card and will check out all the amazing goodies I used from the White

Mini Magical Apothecary Jars White Rose Crafts DT

Good morning friends, Kim here with my next DT project for White Rose Crafts.
I am so excited about this project, I love these little mini bottles, I got them at my local Dollar store, and I had so much fun altering them into tiny magical apothecary jars!

The first thing I did was apply a bit of gesso to make them look like they had been sitting around for a while.

Now it is time to fill my little jars with all sorts of magical things. These tiny little clam shells with pearl charms from the WRC store are the start of my Mermaid Wishes jar!

By adding some glitter, some Dress it Up Buttons, micro beads, and some of the Doodles paper playground sparkle blends I had in my stash, it gave this jar the magic and glitter I was looking for.

Next up, Dragon Scales! Aren't these pieces from the Doodles Paper Playground Boughs of Holly Set perfect for that?

I added more of the sparkle blend, some mica flakes and glitter and I also printed off my own labels for the jars as well.

I also used the Kaisercraft Mademoiselle wooden embellishments, with this lovely cameo piece and a wooden key from the same set for my Unicorn Horn and Dragon Scale jars. I added some of the Nuvo Glitter drops to them too for lots of dimension and sparkle.

I made my own Unicorn horn with some paper clay and glitter!

Once again here are my finished jars. I just love them so cute and fun...and magical too!
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have found some inspiration here!

Hello friends, Kim here with my fun hop project, this time I have altered a journal with lots of great White Rose Crafts items.

I have used the Wild Rose Studio Paper called Letters From Paris for my background
paper on the journal. It fit in perfectly with the Barista Blend colour palette.
Once the paper was down I dove into the gorgeous laces and trims WRC
Sells in the store. The Double Scallop lace is on the top and underneath you can see the
I think they look amazing against the backdrop of the paper!

For the top of the journal I used one of the Dovecraft Heart Paper Doilies, and one that
is from my stash that I coffee dyed to layer on top. I added one of the
sentiment from my stash to finish it off.

I used more of the Melissa Frances chipboard buttons, and more of the
Recollections Flowers and one from the Recollections Chintzy Print set to embellish.
I also used the Dress It Up Decadence chocolate buttons to the mix because they are so cute!

I tied up some more of the laces and some tan coloured seam binding to the side of the journal
to make it look even more shabby.
I am really loving these colour tones together, and I hope you like them too!

Thank you so much for hopping by today, I hope you have found some inspiration here!
