Fairy Envelope Journal White Rose Crafts DT Project

Today I am sharing my next DT project for White Rose Crafts.
This time I have created an envelope journal, using the Kaisercraft Fairy Garden paper
These journals are super easy to put together, just by attaching envelopes to each other and then papering them over with the beautiful Kaisercraft paper.

I also used the Fairy Chipboard pieces inside the journal, and painted them in white, and added some of the Dovecraft Glitter Glue on the wings for some sparkle.

I edged all around the pages with Distress Oxide in Victorian Velvet, to add to the shabby look of the journal.
I also used some laces and trims from my stash for tag pockets inside the journal.

The flaps from the envelopes are great for tuck spots!
I added a bit more lace on the back of the journal, but I didn't want to cover up this beautiful paper, so I did not add too much.  I just love the fairies on this gorgeous paper!

I hope you will make one of these little journals yourself, and please check out the White Rose Crafts Store for your goodies!
Thanks for stopping by today, have a great day!

Lavender & Lace Paper Bag Mini Journal White Rose Crafts DT

Good morning friends, Kim here with my next DT project for White Rose Crafts. This time I have created a mini paper bag journal using the Lavender Hills paper from the WRC Shop.

I used a larger piece of coordinating paper from my stash to wrap around the whole journal for the cover, and gave all the pages and ephemera some Milled Lavender Distress Oxide to colour the edges of the papers.

For the actual journal part, I started off with 5, 2 pound bags I purchased from a friend's live sale. I folded the bags in half and then I covered each of the bags in the paper.

Once that was done, I was able to use the Lavender Hills Die Cut Ephemera Sheet and the 12 x 12 Ephemera sheet to decorate the inside of the journal.

I used the larger ephemera pieces for journaling cards for the opening of the paper bags, which makes wonderful side pockets in the journal.

I added some of the Craft Creations Lilac Bows for decoration along with some fussy cut pieces from the Ephemera sheet.

I also used some of my Tim Holtz Paper dolls from my stash and some of the small talk sentiments to the journal. I bound the journal with some white embroidery floss, it worked great!

The ends of the bag, when folded, make great tuck spots for more of the ephemera!

I created pockets on the front and back of the journal using more of the gorgeous paper and ephemera.

I added some lace to the edge of the journal as well, you can see there is tons of room in this little book for photos or writing.

I also used some of the Delicate Flower embellishments on the front of the journal.

I finished off the journal with some hand dyed bridal trim from my stash and some Want To Scrap Adhesive Pearls in Lavender.

Shabby Chic 6 Pocket Card & Tags White Rose Crafts DT

Good morning friends, Kim here with my next DT project for White Rose Crafts.
This month White Rose is starting something new for 2020, a mood board, and I was very inspired by a few of the colours in the board.   I choose to work with the light pinks and soft blues.  I used the gorgeous Yesterday paper by Lemoncraft for this project.

I was inspired to do this project from a YouTube video I watched by folding a 12 x 12 sheet of paper in such a way that you get 6 pockets in it and it opens up with spaces to place tags and envelopes.  I made them all out of the same paper from Lemoncraft.

I used some of the Tim Holtz Remnant Rubs from the WRC Shop on the front and also on the tags, the black text gave a good contrast to the soft pinks and whites. I also used some of the Recollections flowers on the front as well. A bit of lace from my stash and an altered key that I made finish off the front.

Inside you can see I kept it simple with more of the tags and envelopes tucked in the pockets. I added 2 doilies and 2 more of the Recollections flowers inside. You can see more of the Tim Holtz Remnant Rubs on the tags and envelopes.  I edged the whole card, all the tags and envelopes with some Tattered Rose Distress Oxide to give it more pink!

You can see here all the extras I made out of the paper that fit neatly inside this pocket card.  I am sending this off to a friend, and I may also tuck a bit of goodies inside the card as well for a little surprise, there is lots of room with all these pockets!

I hope you like my project today and have found some inspiration here.

Tag Making with The Best Glue Ever ScraPerfect DT

Good morning ScraPerfect fans, Kim here with my next DT project.
I am doing a tag swap in a Facebook group, and was tasked with making 5 tags for it.

The Best Glue Ever made the job so much easier!
I used the glue to put all my tags together.

It was also helpful in making my tag embellishments.

I also used The Best Glue Ever on some chipboard, which I layered under my sentiments to make them pop up on the tags.

I used paper from Prima and Tim Holtz for the tags.

This little beauty also has a Tim Holtz paper doll on it, and I used The Best Glue Ever to attach his wings!

I hope you like my project today, and found some inspiration here.
I had so much fun making these tags.

Shabby Chic Paris Heart Card White Rose Crafts DT

Good morning friends, Kim here with my next DT project for White Rose Crafts!
This time I have made a pretty shabby chic and Parisian inspired card for a friend.
I started off with the Neenah A2 Cards and Envelopes set in Parchment for my base.

For the background, I used the Letters from Paris paper stack from Wild Rose Studios. I love this paper, it's just gorgeous with the pink roses and scripty writing and who doesn't love a pink Eiffel Tower?

I also used some of the pink Recollections flowers and one of the Melissa Frances chipboard buttons as an embellishment.

I also dipped into my White Rose Crafts lace stash and used the heart lace and the white scallop lace on the card. The heart Bling Buckle Slider was perfect on this card too!

I also did some sewing on my card and used pink embroidery thread in the bobbin on my sewing machine to give this cool texture to my card.

I hope you like my card and will check out all the amazing goodies I used from the White

Garden Goddess File Folio & Tags White Rose Crafts DT

Hello friends, Kim here with my next DT project for White Rose Crafts.
This time I have created 2 tags and a file folio type envelope to keep them in.

I saw a tutorial on Youtube to make a simple file folio and adapted the paper to make one to hold my tags. They are being shipped off to a friend and I wanted to keep them safe on their journey.

I was so inspired by this Graphic 45 paper called Garden Goddess! This paper is so beautiful, it might just be my favorite G45 paper of all time.

White Rose Crafts now has a selection of laces and trims in their store, and I couldn't resist in using them on my project, including this gorgeous bow trim with the pearl in the middle.

I had some sunflower lace in my stash and it matched perfectly, so I added some to the base of my filo along with a row of bows.

I added a pocket to the back of the folio, and cut out some of the tags from the paper and placed them inside the pocket.

I created 2 tags, in slightly different colours.

This first tag is in pinks and yellows. I used more of the bow lace and also some of the double edge lace for the bow and some of the little cherry blossom flowers from the WRC store to finish it off.

My second tag has some of the scallop lace at the bottom and another of the bows at the top. More of the cherry blossom flowers went well around the tag. I also used some Dovecraft glitter glue in Crystal on both of the tags to give them some sparkle!

I hope you have enjoyed my project today and have found some inspiration here.
