Love Artist Trading Coins White Rose Crafts DT

Good morning friends, Kim here with my next DT project for White Rose Crafts. This time I have created some Shabby Chic Artist Trading coins.

I love making these Arist Trading Coins using the gorgeous "Love" chipboard set from the WRC shop.

I used various embossing powders from my stash, in coordinating colours, but making each coin unique.

Once the embossing was done, I used some Glossy Accents to glue the background paper, Felici 'Tea paper to the back of each of the coins.

I also used the Glossy Accents to add some micro beads, rhinestones and tiny metal embellishments to decorate the coins.
The finishing touch was the Tim Holtz Rub Ons which added a lovely sentiment to each of the coins.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today and have found some inspiration here.

Valentine Heart Boxes ScraPerfect DT

Happy Valentine's Day!  Kim here with my next DT project for ScraPerfect!
I have altered these adorable little heart boxes I found at my local dollar store. I thought they would be perfect to hold a little Valentine surprise for someone!

I painted the boxes a pretty pink colour using some Prima Art Alchemy paint, and then got out my Best Glue Ever to add my elements on the box once the paint was dry.
I used some beautiful Lemoncraft paper on the box. The Best Glue Ever is my go to glue for any paper crafting I do, and for this project it worked so well!

I added some rosette trim around the edges of the box along with a seam binding bow to give that shabby feel.

The tops of the boxes are decorated with lace, tiny heart buttons, bling and Tim Holtz paper dolls. All adhered to the box with the Best Glue Ever. I used the No Clog writing cap on my glue to get the right amount of glue out and not have too much glue on my projects.

I hope you like my project today and have found some inspiration here.

Vintage Valentine Box ScraPerfect DT

Hello ScraPerfect Fans, Kim here today with my next DT project for ScraPerfect.
This time I have created an altered wooden box and done it up vintage Valentine style!

I used the Best Glue Ever for all the paper I put on the box. This glue really is the best for using on paper, it holds so well and you need so little to make it work!

Once the paper was in place, I painted up some wooden hearts from Fernli Designs in a blush pink colour. Once the paint was dry, I added some more of the Best Glue Ever and sprinkled on some of my favorite glitter.

I glued the hearts on the box and also added some trims in a soft grey colour.

I used some tiny rhinestone trim around the lid for some sparkle and shine.

A resin cherub adds more Valentine charm!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and please check out the ScraPerfect Store for all the great goodies they have in stock.

Cute As A Button ScraPerfect DT

Hello ScraPerfect fans! Kim here today with a simple and easy Valentine project for you.

I started off with a 4 x 5 inch canvas that I painted with some Prima Art Alchemy Paint in Pink.

I love this paint, its is iridescent and gives a lovely shine to the canvas.

Next, I drew a half of a heart on a piece of paper, and cut it out.

Now I have a template for my canvas. I drew around it with a light pencil line, so I would be able to see where to put the buttons and keep the heart shape on the canvas.

Now its time for the Best Glue Ever. I used the glue to stick down my buttons, but first I laid them all out so I was happy with the pattern.

Once the buttons were glued down, I added some flat back trim in pink around the buttons to frame it and make the heart stand out.

I added a small organza bow to the top and a small ribbon rose finished it off nicely.

Now it is time to get out my favorite ScraPerfect product...these gorgeous Transfer Foils! I love using these in a variety of ways, and this was a good opportunity to use them.

I am also using some of the Christine Adolph Rub ons for the foils, they are a sticky adhesive that the foils stick to great.

I wanted to add a little tag to the side of the heart so I cut it out of white cardstock and punched a hole in the paper. I used the "XO" sentiment from the rub on pack and used the red foil to rub on to it.

I tied some jute twine to the tag and glued it on the canvas.

Here is the finished canvas. It is a very quick and easy project all with the help from ScraPerfect.

I hope you have found some inspiration here today and will check out all the great items in the
ScraPerfect Store.
Thanks for stopping by!

Love You Valentine Layout Gina's Designs DT Project

Hello friends and Happy Valentines Day tomorrow! I wanted to show a rather non traditional Valentine project today, and the X0X0 Wall Hanging was the perfect base for it! I used some of the Enchanted Garden paper from Bo Bunny as my base, then used some sprays in matching colors, and some texture paste and script stamp. This completed the background and I was ready to embellish.

The heart above is from the Build A Layout Love Birds Set which I embossed in a teal color and added some glitter for sparkle. The X and 0 from the wall hanging I also did the same treatment to just using a different color.

Below here is the Love You Script, also from the Love Birds set. I used just some fine white embossing powder, as there was enough color going on, and I wanted the sentiment to stand out.
The fairies are fussy cut from the paperline and for their wings I used some butterfly stickers I was sent from a friend, they worked out perfectly.
Finally, in the top corner of the layout, I used the Butterfly Corner, which is a new piece from Gina. I painted it with some Silks Acrylic Glazes in different colours to pick up on the color theme I was going for. I added some flowers to the corner and also used some Prima Resin Butterflies throughout the piece to finish it off.
I really enjoyed making this piece it was a lot of fun to think outside the box and use some very non traditional colors and themes for Valentines Day.
I hope you will pop over to Gina's Store and check out all the new pieces she has in stock!
Happy Valentines to everyone!
