Fairy Magic ATC's White Rose Crafts DT

Good morning friends, Kim here with some magical fairy ATCs, using some fun items from the

I started off with some blank ATC bases.

I covered the bases with the Craft Creations Silver Foil Texture with Stars paper. This paper is so beautiful and magical looking, it was perfect for what I was going for on my atc's.

After I covered the bases with the paper, I got out some of my Tim Holtz paper dolls and added some fun butterfly wings to them, to make them into magical little fairies.

Once I had the paper dolls and wings on the atc's, I used some Dovecraft Glitter glue on the
wings of my little fairies for some extra magical glitter.

Next, I got out some Imagine Crafts Sheer Shimmer spray, in Sparkle.  I love this spray so much, it adds an amazing amount of glitter and shimmer to everything I use it on, I can see this spray will be something I keep in my crafty stash!

Finally, for the last little magical touch, I added some of the Tim Holtz mirrored stars to each of the cards.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today, thanks for stopping by!

Imagine Fairy Mixed Media Canvas White Rose Crafts DT

Good morning friends, Kim here with my next DT project for White Rose Crafts.
This time I have created a mixed media canvas using lots of lovely items from the WRC Store.

I started off with lots of sprays from my stash to give a lovely turquoise background to the canvas. I then used the Heart Stencil from Clear Scraps (sold out)  for some texture as well.

I embossed all the chipboard pieces from the Moon Fairy set, and I also added some crushed sea shells in a blue colour to the fairies dress to give it some texture.

I also added some cheesecloth to the background of the fairy moon, to give it more texture and dimension. I sprayed the cheesecloth the same turquoise as I used in the background.

I used the word Imagine from the chipboard dream word set and I embossed it in a white with a turquoise shimmer to pick up on the turquoise in the background.

A final touch was some of these amazing Tim Holtz mirrored stars. I really love these, and you get 24 in a pack from the WRC Store.

I also added some gold mica powder to the background so it would pick up on the gold in the moon and add more sparkle.

The stars really added that final touch of sparkle the canvas needed.

I hope you like my project and have found some inspiration here today.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Fairy Wall Hanging ScraPerfect DT

Good morning friends, Kim here with my next DT project for ScraPerfect. This time I have created a fairy wall hanging for a friend and used The Best Glue Ever to make my project.

I used some crackle paste on my chipboard base, and also painted it with gesso to give a shabby chic look.

I used a pretty flower fairy image that was gifted to me by another friend for my focal point.  The best glue ever with the no clog writing cap makes easy work for a project like this!

The Best Glue Ever, even works on fabric, and my little satin flowers too!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have found some inspiration here today!

Use Your Wings Burlap Mixed Media Canvas White Rose Crafts DT

Good morning Rosies! Today I am sharing a mixed media burlap canvas I have altered using lots of White Rose Crafts goodies!

I cut out 3 large hearts from the Lemoncraft Yesterday paper, and used that as my base to start. I had the image of the fairy in my stash, which was sent to me from a friend. The flowers are from Artemio Rhinestone & Paper Flower set.
I also added a little resin cherub from my stash as well.

I love the Altair Art butterfly ephemera! I added some Dovecraft glitter glue in crystal to the wings to make them sparkle.
The fairy also had to have some sparkly wings too!

I added a few laces, cheesecloth, doilies, and some very old tatting to give shabby vintage vibe to the canvas.

I also used the Tim Holtz stamp from Stampers Anonymous "French Market" to add some scripty writing to the canvas.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today and will check out all the great items in the White Rose Crafts Store.
Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope you have found some inspiration here today.

A Fairy Nice Tag for ScraPerfect Design Team

Good morning friends, Kim here today to share with you my next design team project for ScraPerfect!

I am very excited to share with you my "fairy nice" tag I have created using lots of ScraPerfect items.

I started off with a large wooden tag which I painted with gesso and then used some sprays and stencils to give some texture to the background. I then used some pumpkin pie ink from Hero Arts and a script stamp from Joggles to finish off the background.

Once the background was dry, I got out some rub-ons from Prima. These rub-ons have a adhesive on the top of them so they are a perfect fit for the ScraPerfect transfer foils! I added some of the Bronze Transfer Foil to the adhesive rub-ons all over the tag.

I also used some of the black transfer foils as well, featuring a butterfly and thistle design.

Once the transfer foils were complete, I got out some watercolour pastels and choose a coordinating colour to go around the outside of the tag to give some highlights to the edges.

Now it was time for the Best Glue Ever! I had this really pretty fairy image, that I downloaded from a free graphics site, and I needed to glue her down on the tag. The glue worked amazingly well for this. Sometimes when you glue down paper images, they tend to ripple, well not with this glue!! It went down so perfectly and not one single ripple either!

Here is a close up of the fairy, so you can see for yourself, there is no rippling at all with the glue and the image is perfectly adhered to the tag.

Since The Best Glue Ever worked so well on the image, I decided to experiment and see what else it could do. So I used it to adhere some of the Prima Art Stones and also some of my vintage laces that I used at the bottom of the tag. The result? Perfection! The art stones and the laces held down great!

I added some flowers, metal embellishments, pearls and a butterfly to the base of the tag, to give it a shabby look. I used the Best Glue Ever for the flowers as well, and they also held down really well with the glue.

I also added a vintage applique, flowers and more vintage laces to the top of the tag. You can also see some of the art stones on the left, which add great texture.

Here are some close up photos for you to see the dimension and fun embellishments I used to create this tag.

I also went around the image of the fairy with a watercolour pencil and water brush, to make her stand out a little better on the tag.

I hope you have found some inspiration today with my project, and will give some of these techniques a try.
Please check out the ScraPerfect Store and Blog for more info on these products!
Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!
